Hawkeswood Metal Recycling Limited has been trading for more than 40 years in the recycling industry, and has built up an extensive and healthy customer base that includes Local Authorities, Major Plc’s, UK and International metal traders and small independent companies. We trade in ferrous, non-ferrous and precious metals and currently operate from three fully licensed sites.

All our plant and machinery is of high specification and is constantly being maintained and updated these are to include baling machines, cutting machines, sorting machines, press and shear and magnet separation machines.

In addition we also operate a full range of specialized transport, which includes several skip and roll-on-off vehicles and larger articulated vehicles that are tailored to meet all our customers’ needs.

We have a strict customer care policy in place to ensure customer satisfaction. And have a full training-program for staff in place. We also have an Investment schedule to ensure healthy growth. In addition we strive to be as “Environmentally friendly” as possible, and have won a Commendation (City of Birmingham Business & Environment Awards) for our achievements. Also achieving BSN ISO 14001 accreditation on the 7th July 2003 showing our commitment to customers/suppliers and to the growth of Hawkeswood Metal Recycling Limited.

The Service We Would Provide

We pride ourselves on our service. All our clients have a dedicated Accounts manager that is contactable at all times to deal with any issues. A specific driver is assigned to each customer to help achieve maximum efficiency and personal service, we take a lot of time and trouble to ensure that when it comes to collecting waste our service is always professional and at the same time offering you safeguards to important issues such as weighing, collecting and securing your waste materials. We supply a various range of skips and containers to 85 cu yard bulk tipper bodies, for collection of material. The containers supplied can even be painted in our clients’ colours and logo. In addition we can supply them “leak proof” when requested.

Other Services

Many companies are now utilising specialist Waste Management Organisations to consolidate all of their waste streams. We at Hawkeswood Metal Recycling Limited take a very active approach to all aspects of waste disposal and offer a complete “Total Waste Management Solution”.
We can do a full audit, totally free of charge collating all the information and then submitting a full proposal. With our expertise in the recycling scrap metals (ferrous /Non ferrous), we as a company find it easy to apply our knowledge placing great emphasis on achieving a package tailored made to our customers or potential customers.

Environmental Legislation

Legislation and its ever-growing demands on Companies, require you the producer to dispose/recycle your waste streams by an authorised company in FULL compliance with Environmental Legislation. (Please find attached copies of): Duty of Care (section34) of the Environmental Act (1990)
