Our specialist recycling centre hosts an impressive 7-acre scrap metal recycling and processing plant and it’s our continuous investment and innovation that allows us to retain our position as the only true independent, family-owned recycling site in the Midlands.
All our plant and machinery is of high specification and is constantly maintained and updated. These include baling, cutting, sorting, press, shearing and magnet separation machines.

Every one of our clients is allocated a dedicated Accounts manager that is contactable at all times to deal with any issues. A specific driver is assigned to each customer to help achieve maximum efficiency and personal service. HMR ensure that when it comes to collecting waste the service you receive is professional and courteous. It’s of paramount importance that issues such as weights, collections and audit trails are handled with complete transparency. We pride ourselves on our fully-maintained Fleet and the containers we supply can be painted in our clients’ colours and logos added. In addition, we can supply leak proof containers for external use.
Finally, we have achieved BSN ISO 14001 accreditation which further cements our position and commitment to customers/suppliers along with the innovative growth of Hawkeswood Metal Recycling Limited.

Legislation and its ever-growing demands on Companies, require you the producer to dispose/recycle your waste streams by an authorised company in FULL compliance with Environmental Legislation. (Please find attached copies of): Duty of Care (section34) of the Environmental Act (1990)
